User Info: Electrium. User Info: pintsizepete. Limbo is more fun, Braid is tougher, like many others said. Everything in Limbo makes sense and is attainable through trial and error and basic physics knowledge. Some things in Braid are inscrutable and absolutely only figured out through intense trial and error or random happenstance. They're both really good though. Braid is sad and Limbo is creepy.
Both convey their emotions very well. Step 4 - I hypnotize you with my teeth and you send me money. I disagree that you have to figure out Braid's puzzles through happenstance. My bowels hurt. User Info: jsquad If there is one thing that Limbo does better at it is "death". Seriously I was startled by some of the deaths in Limbo.
And the way I interpret the ending in it makes me feel more emotionally invested in Limbo. That's why I chose Limbo over Braid. But both games are beautiful in their own ways. User Info: alienhamster. I can't wait to get it! User Info: uncledonnie3. In terms of story Braid is much better. The puzzles in Braid just annoyed the hell out of me for the most part but I really enjoyed every moment of this game. I was stumped but I was never frustrated to the point where I wanted to throw my controller through the TV which I contemplated doing several times throughout Braid.
I'd go with Braid. Was a bit more challenging and that makes it more rewarding. Music and art were perfect and the ending. Well Jesus.. LIMBO shouldn't be discounted though. Excellent game in its own right. User Info: guycc. User Info: JurassicRabbit. Limbo is great, but none of the puzzles really stumped me long enough or hard enough for me to get the immense satisfaction that I got from solving most of Braid's tougher puzzles.
Both are excellent games though and well worth the 15 bucks. User Info: DarthBilf. I think Limbo. There were many puzzles in Braid that I only figured out by screwing around for a bit until I stumbled into the solution, That only happened once in Limbo.
It's an issue which has got the office split right down the middle, too. Well, all three of us who're in today. Cundy and Houghton both think Limbo is the best thing since sliced Braid, claiming they prefer it to the time-hopping adventure.
Above: Bleak and jarringly violent, Limbo is one of this year's most striking titles. Anyhoo, enough from us. What do you think? Have you played both games?
