Grave encounters how does it end

As TC walks past one tub, a bloody body leaps out and pulls him in. The others drain the tub, but TC has disappeared. Several more days go by. The remaining three are also stalked by a very violent bald-headed spirit. They come to an elevator and pry it open to reveal an empty shaft. They are attacked by the bald ghost, however, and while Sasha and Lance fight it off, the insane Matt leaps to his death down the elevator shaft.

Sasha and Lance fend off the ghost and descend to the subterranean passageway. They walk for days, finding no exit, or even the elevator shaft they came down in. Meanwhile, Sasha grows sick, coughing up blood. After searching for more exits and trying to escape to the roof, the stairwell mysteriously ends with a solid wall blocking the entrance to the top floor.

They hear screaming and run towards it, thinking it is Matt. They enter a room with a metal bed frame, which moves and then levitates. Soon after, they document Sasha's back, which now has a disturbing message carved into it saying "hello. The crew flees in fear, but Houston is separated from the others and later violently assaulted by an unseen force, killing him.

While resting, the others find hospital tags bearing their names on their wrists. They eventually find Matt, who is wearing a hospital gown and has been driven insane, mumbling nonsense about his apparent psychological disorder, and explaining that the only way for them to escape is for them to "get better" at the hands of the hospital's unseen residents. The crew continues to be chased through the hospital by several apparitions.

Lance and Sasha enter the tunnels in search of another exit where Sasha, who has become violently ill, disappears in a mist that appears while she and Lance sleep. Terrified and insane, Lance continues through the tunnels alone, surviving by killing and eating rats, until he finds a door leading to Friedkin's operating room that contains an altar and pentagram for a demonic ritual, showing that Friedkin had used black magic for medical practice. He turns to see the apparitions of Friedkin and several nurses, who drag a screaming Lance onto their operating table.

Arthur Friedkin, is charged with inhumane experiments on the patients. After taking a day tour of the hospital, the crew return for an overnight surveillance campaign while locking themselves inside.

At first, everything is quiet, but soon, strange phenomena begin to occur, such as odd noises, doors and windows moving, and a wheelchair moving on its own. After recording a haunting where an invisible entity moves Sasha's hair, the group decides to finish their filming and wait for 6 AM when the caretaker will let them out.

They begin gathering their belongings, but Matt disappears while retrieving the cameras alone. Now becoming uneasy and with the caretaker nowhere to be seen hours after their agreed release time, the crew eventually break down the exit doors, only to discover that the exit mysteriously loops back into another hallway, and all exits either lead to more hallways or dead ends. Lance soon realizes that the sun has not risen, and it is still night outside, despite their cellphone clocks showing that it is well past mid-morning.

The group attempts to find an alternate exit, but to no avail as the building seemingly changes around them, creating dead ends and false exits. After the group encounters a young woman in a hospital gown whose face demonically distorts, Houston is separated and strangled by an invisible force.

A flash of light follows, and Houston is thrown back, dead. While resting, the remaining crew awaken only to discover that they have somehow been fitted with hospital identification bracelets, each bracelet having their name inscribed on it. Lance, Sasha, and T. As the group leaves the room, T. He tries to pull Matt away, but is dragged by a dead patient into the bathtub in which they both disappear. As Sasha and Lance rest against the wall in one of the tunnels, a fog drifts over them.

When Lance opens his eyes, Sasha is gone, and he is totally alone. He begins to freak out. He speaks into his analog audiorecorder and hears eerie laughter all around him. A rat walks past him, and Lance beats it to death with a pole and feasts on its flesh, laughing maniacally. After a short sleep, he wanders about in the dark until he sees a door.

Entering the room, which appears to be a laboratory of some sort, he sees photos of what must have been previous patients being operated upon. In another room, he encounters an altar bearing candles, a human skull, and Satanic books amongst the other books for medical treatment of mental disease.

In yet another room, he comes upon Doctor Friedkin Arthur Corber and two nurses performing a lobotomy. The picture goes dark, but Lance can be heard screaming, "No! I'm not crazy! He says, "He said I'm all better now. I can finally go home.
